"Briski" Christmas in Champaign

The annual Clark family Christmas picture...Lillian was getting a little tired from all of the excitement throughout the day. She wouldn't give up her thumb! Oh well, I think we're still cute:)

Lillian trying to walk in her Christmas dress. She found out that it was a little more difficult because it had so many layers. Isn't she pretty?

Our little angel. She posed this one all on her own and we thought it was just too cute to pass up!

"Christmas morning" was filled with the kids opening presents. We all found so much joy in watching the excitement on their faces. Lillian and Carter enjoyed their first Christmas (even though I don't think they really knew what was going on). Lillian sat down in the midst of the paper scraps and bows for a break and when she stood up, well, you can see....she grew a tail. We all laughed...she couldn't really understand what we were laughing about though:)

Lillian loves her alphabet pal from Gamma and Grandpa.

Taking some time out to read "Baby's first Christmas" with Daddy.

Looking at her presents...and wondering what to do.

Pulling out a book from her stocking. Oh how she loves to read.

Lillian, Carter and me on "Christmas morning".

Cousins are GREAT! Natalie and Lillian had such a good time playing together. The best was right before dinner, they were running up and down the hallway screaming (at the top of their lungs) and being silly. Carter endured all of the noise and was able to find some peace and quiet throughout the day to take naps. These three little ones love each other...and I think it shows.

I love my daddy!

I love spending time with my daddy. We have so much fun together. He makes me laugh and giggle every day. Being in his arms is one of my favorite places. He is my hero and I love him very much.

My Own Nativity

Lilly received her very own Little People's Nativity last weekend from Gamma and Grandpa. She loved hearing the story of Jesus' birth for the first time this weekend when we got out all of our Christmas decorations. She now plays with it all the time. We also put our lights up outside. Lillian especially loved watching Daddy put the lights on the roof! :) So far, she is doing a great job with just looking at the tree -- and pointing to all of the ornaments. We did specifically put an ornament for her at the bottom of the tree. It's a little jingle bell ornament that she likes to "jingle". She brings us so much joy! We hope this holiday season brings you joy.

Lillian Loves Leaves

Lillian loved fall! She had a great time playing with the leaves and feeling them. She was even brave enough to stand all by herself in the midst of them!

Heres some pictures of the calm between the storms from last night. The rainbow was beautiful and the sky was bright orange during sunset.....
Lilly started eating cereal last weekend (June 1). She has done pretty well with it and after a week has already learned that she needs to open her mouth for food. She also knows how to pull the cereal off the spoon and swallow.

The other pictures a just random, but cute. Daddy had her on his shoulders this morning and she loved it!! She also likes her walks, which is the one of her in her stroller.
