While We Were Away....

So it's been about two months since I've been able to add a post to our blog. Things have just been too busy for me to sneak time away. It's 7 am on a Sunday morning and Zoe is up with me. We've been up for about an hour and a half already. So much for sleeping in :) Randy and Lillian are sleeping away, so I thought I'd take this quiet time to actually add some pictures since many of you have been asking. While "we've been away" we have been busy with lots of play time, visiting the apple orchard, reading lots of books, going to the Children's Museum, playing with Playdoh, trying to crawl (Zoe), laughing and traveling. I'll post some pictures for you to see how the girls have grown. Know that you are loved this holiday season not only by us but by a Heavenly Father who cares for you each and every day. Curtis Orchard -- Champaign

I took the girls over to my parents' house and met my two sisters there for the weekend. Randy was busy all weekend, so we took a girls trip! We went to an orchard near my parents' house...one that we have been going to for years. Friends of our from church own it so we love to head there every fall. Speaking of fall, I can't believe it's here already! Anyway, these are just a few pictures from that day!!

This past week we celebrated several events: Zoe's 1 month birthday, Lillian's 18 month birthday and Mommy's last week with her girls before returning to work...(I don't know that this was a celebration, but we did lots of fun things). Zoe continues to grow and change each day. Randy and I can't believe how fast time is going for her. She lifts her head now, will smile and coo at you. Precious moments! Lillian is our big toddler...She talks non-stop and amazes us every day with something new she can do or say. Sometimes, we just have to sit there in awe and take it all in! We wanted to capture some of the special moments from the Clark's home over the past month! Enjoy.

Randy and I purposefully "staged" a few pictures of Zoe in similar poses and outfits (which I'm sure the girls will hate us for later) to show how similar the the girls are...What do you think? Can you tell them apart??!!

Lillian loves going to daycare! Karen sends me a notebook each day of her day -- what she ate, what they did etc. I bought this little backpack for Lillian to carry it back and forth. She thinks its the best thing ever! :) Isn't she cute.

The past month has been one of adjustment, excitement, laughter, fun, little sleep, and joy. Adding Zoe into our family has been a true blessing. She is a miracle. It's so wonderful to be the mommy of two great girls. Lillian adores her little sister. We hope you will enjoy these pictures as much as we do.
