Over my spring break, Lillian and I are doing different activities together. Monday we tried finger painting. She wasn't quite sure about the paint on her hands/fingers...didn't really like the feel of the cold paint. We were able to make a few pictures for grandparents and daddy.

Finger Painting
Over my spring break, Lillian and I are doing different activities together. Monday we tried finger painting. She wasn't quite sure about the paint on her hands/fingers...didn't really like the feel of the cold paint. We were able to make a few pictures for grandparents and daddy.
Our sweet girl.
Lillian is growing each and every day. She can say many words and is even "babbling" sentences. Randy and I agree that we can't imagine life without her...she's a miracle. Anyone who has ever become a mommy (or daddy) knows how much joy your children bring to your life. I honestly knew that my heart was going to change and fill with love, but didn't realize this much. Daily, Lillian makes me laugh, gives hugs and kisses, and shines a new light on the world for me. These pictures capture a little bit of her amazing little personality. I thank God each day for the blessing of my (our) sweet little girl.
The first pictures are Lillian waiting for her "hero"...her daddy as he was outside cleaning the hottub. Lillian and Randy have a very special bond.
The second pictures are Lillian reading in "her chair". We have been looking for a chair just for her and finally found one a few weekends ago. She loves to sit and read her books.
Enjoy...we hope she brings a smile to your face as she does ours.

My Clearning Lady
Backyard Fun
A few weeks ago, we were blessed with warm weather. This arrived just in time. We all thought we'd go crazy if we weren't able to get outside soon after such a long and cold winter. This particular day was warm, 70+ degrees and sunny. Randy and I loved how curly Lillian's hair got and realized we may have trouble keeping her hair "tame" as the summer comes and brings it's normal Indiana humidity. Lillian loved being outside with Jax. She wasn't too fond of the grass though. When she fell down, she'd promptly say "UP". She didn't like the feel of the grass on her hands. Later, before we went in, she bravely picked a blade of grass and gave it to us. Looking forward to more warm days out in the backyard with our perfect and precious daughter.
The Climber
Grandpa Clark gave Lillian a small rocking chair which she loves. We practice climbing up into it several times and then one day she did it all by herself. She now takes books into "her little chair" and reads them to us. These pictures show her in sequence of having her first climbing-into-a-chair victory.
Books...
My Very Own Phone!
Lillian LOVES our cell phones. She pretends to talk on them daily. Great Grandma Bear got a new cell phone, so Lillian is able to "talk" to whomever she wants. The buttons make noise and she even can change the rings! Randy and I think it's hilarious that we have to charge a "fake" phone once a week for our 13 month daughter!

More Birthday Gifts! Oh My!
Aunt Stefanie, Uncle Corey, Natalie and Carter sent their gifts with Gamma a few weeks ago. Lillian opened them and was very excited with what was inside. She received a "Little People Dollhouse", a musical book, and a dinner ware set. She was thrilled to have another present to open. She is looking forward to playing with the dollhouse with her cousin Natalie!
