Easter 2010

What a blessing it has been to talk with our girls about Jesus and the life that He can give them. Lillian is understanding more and more even in her simplistic two year old way. Zoe just smiles when I say His name. This past weekend we went to an Easter carnival at my parents' church. There was lots of food and games, an egg hunt, and a short message of what knowing the One, True Savior means. My eyes filled with tears as I held Lillian and watched her excitement as she watched all of the singing and dancing. I pray that both of my girls will grow up knowing and loving the Lord with their whole hearts. My ultimate favorite part was when Lillian was doing the egg hunt and she found a sticker with Jesus' face and a colorful cross. She looked up at Randy and me and said, "Look Mommy, Daddy, I found Jesus!" We do pray that you find Jesus and keep Him in your heart forever!

Life With Two Under Two

Our days are filled with lots of joy, busyness, some time-outs, reading and playing, hugs and smiles. Randy and I are on this adventure to parent two girls under the age of two. Lillian is struggling to find her independence and what exactly it means to be a big sister and Zoe wants to be nothing more than exactly like her big sister (which intern frustrates Lillian sometimes). All in all, the girls get a long pretty well. Randy and I love to just sit back and watch their little minds at work. The best part of any day lately is watching the girls kiss each other goodnight after a day full of fun. It reminds me of how great our God is and how much He loves us.
